Busy Busy Busy

Hi everyone — it’s been another busy week, and things are really starting to ramp up now!

We’ve had interest from a few potential business clients, and I’ve also received a generous amount of donated filament for the early trials of the recycled filament I’ll be producing. It’s been incredibly encouraging to see the support already forming around Knightcycle.

Most of the machinery has now been sourced, and while a few final pieces are still in progress, things are moving steadily. I’m currently awaiting confirmation from a PLA pellet supplier — surprisingly one of the hardest parts so far — but hopeful this will be locked in soon.

On a positive note, Knightcycle has now secured £10,000 in early startup funding, which has been instrumental in helping us get everything in place for production and testing. Every bit of progress feels more real each week.

I’m also excited to share that I’m aiming for an official launch in January 2026, depending on the last phase of machinery setup. It’s coming together!

Additionally, I’ve had some early discussions with a fantastic charity interested in receiving donated points from users who don’t need to redeem theirs — a brilliant way to turn recycling into wider community impact.
